How to add & edit cashflow income

‍

Your cashflow income is set up from your budgets, then you can adjust it. You can also add income here without linking it to a budget.

‍

‍

1. Adding income

‍

There are two ways to add income:

‍

  • From a budget - when you create an income budget, we add that monthly amount to your cashflow forecast
  • Manually - tap Edit your cashflow, then the + next to your income. Enter the name, amount, how often, and start date. You can link it to a budget if you want

‍

If you have one-off income, like a bonus, use the same add screen and set How often? to one-off. It only appears in the month of the start date.

‍

‍

2. Total income

‍

Once budgets and any extra income are in, you'll see your total income at the bottom of the income section.

‍

‍

3. Edit your income

‍

Tap the pencil next to an income line to open the edit screen.

‍

You can change the name if it isn't linked to a budget, the amount, how often it occurs, and the start date.

‍

  • Edit details - updates every month
  • Edit just this month - changes only the month you're looking at

‍

Editing a cashflow line that is linked to a budget does not change the budget itself. Tap Update when you're done.

‍

‍

4. Delete an income

‍

Open the income and tap the bin icon in the top right, then confirm.

‍

For the wider picture, read Cashflow feature overview.
