Tell us a bit about yourself

Born and bred in the Waikato. My wife and I both work in the dairy industry and have two young boys. Very busy times! Setting up ourselves for our family's future is the most important thing for us right now.

What's your money story?

‍

You can definitely throw me in the category of 'saver' and this hasn't really changed since I was young. Makes for a bit of a challenge when you marry a 'spender'. However, over the years I've tried to balance investing for the future and living in the now. One thing I do hate is wasteful spending, you spend too much of your life working to chuck it away on stupid stuff.

What drew you to BudgetBuddie?

For a few years I was tracking my expenses through the bank and then exporting the data into an excel file as the banks functionality was limited. Too much double handling and I wanted to move to something that was live and at my fingertips. Budgetbuddie ticked these boxes with a slick app and data integrations.
